Social groups and activities for autistic individuals

Doncaster Autism Service recognises the importance of autistic individuals being able to meet like minded people in a relaxed setting.  We host a number of groups and activities designed to facilitate autistic individuals to meeting in comfortable surroundings, share stories and lived experiences, enjoy shared interests and gain insight to themselves and others.   You can find out more about the groups and activities we run by clicking below:

Support Groups & Coffee Mornings

Being a parent/carer of an autistic individual can at times be a lonely and challenging journey.  Our coffee mornings are a place for parents to come together to support one another, shared lived experiences and the ups and downs that life brings.  Our coffee mornings are held a the Carers Centre in Doncaster and you can find out more information about these and the dates and times bu clicking on the button below

Counselling for autistic adults and parent carers

We have a counselling service that specifically caters for autistic adults.  The counselling sessions take place at the Carers Centre in Doncaster and are free to autistic individuals and parent carers of autistic individuals.  If you are a parent carer or an autistic individual and you would like to access this service, please click the button below and let us know who we can help

Therapies Sessions

You can access free therapeutic massages in the form of either hand, shoulder head or back massages.  Sessions range from 20 to 30 minutes.  If you would like to find out more, please click on the button below.

Telephone Befriending Service

This is a service which autistic adults can access if they are experiencing loneliness or just need someone to talk to.  If you would like to find out more, please drop us an e-mail by clicking the button below and we will get back to you.
